Classical Contemporary Kitchen was Designed by Newcastle Design

This bright and shining kitchen was designed by Newcastle Design who have used clean lines and bespoke finishes to create a modern and stylish space. Classical Contemporary Kitchen

Structural changes came in the form of the room being extended, with large glass sliding doors and a large glass skylight being added. Once these changes were made, designer Ronan could get down to work creating the cabinets, island and helping the clients to choose their appliances. ‘I knew I had to design a kitchen that was both stylish but also practical for the family’s needs. I wanted to provide solutions to improve how they work, cook and socialise in the kitchen,’ explains Ronan. Tall cabinets housing excellent storage facilities are evident in the final design and the clean lines of the under counter ovens brings a streamlined effect to the kitchen.

The island brings the wow factor and the Silestone by Cosentino worktops on the island and the other countertops blend the colour scheme perfectly. Ronan was also able to design other elements to suit the family’s lifestyle such as the area in the hallway for storing coats, hats and shoes, which adds an extra stylish dimension to the home. Unique elements and design features include the contrasting timber flooring and the clean white bespoke cabinetry, which brings a Hamptons style finish to the overall kitchen. Hidden elements in the kitchen include an extraction system which is concealed in a bespoke unit and the fridge freezer which is hidden in the recessed cabinets. ‘It was a real pleasure designing this kitchen,’ concludes Ronan. ‘The clients were over the moon with the finished result and explained that it is everything that they wanted. They spend most of the time in the openplan space now which is great, and I feel I have created a stylish design with classic and contemporary elements that suits their needs perfectly.
